White House aides reached out to South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem last year about the process of adding additional presidents to Mount Rushmore. Trump had raised the idea with the governor of South Dakota. She initially thought he was joking. 'I started laughing," she said. "He wasn't laughing, so he was totally serious." No joke: this idiotic notion is held seriously at the White House. And they may accomplish this laughable travesty yet. CNN reports that "A White House official noted to the New York Times that Mount Rushmore is a federal, not a state monument."
Oh why not--and why not add Robert E. Lee? Also how about mafia boss John Gotti?
Or perhaps we should consider Jeffrey Epstein? Put him up there. He belongs on Mt Rushmore as much as Trump does.
Or more to the point, how about Vlad Putin, who is currently the real power in the White House? Indeed, if Trump goes up there, so should Benedict Arnold.
